people have said 2-4 marks but i was wondering how they know/ where they heard ?

2-4 marks would be within the sort of fluctuations seen under the old system anyway. I'd imagine people saying this are just guessing.

It's very hard to know what will happen, as exam boards don't want huge swathes of people failing, but they do want the new exams to be seen as rigorous.

I wouldn't expect huge rises, but it's very hard to make predictions and in my opinion even experienced teachers aren't really trying to make exact predictions- just that they will go up "a bit".

I think this falls into the area of "things outside of your control". All you can do is go into the exam and do the best that you possible can.

They have just made it up.

People are making a lot of the historical trend of grade boundaries to be low for new specifications and drift upwards as teachers become more familiar with the new requirements and students have more past papers to practice with.

Nobody knows what the grade boundaries will be for any specific subject or examiner this year, including the examiners that wrote the papers. Some will go up, some down and some will stay roughly the same.
