I was on higher before and failed and got a 3 and I’ve been put on foundation recently. How can I get a grade 5 on foundation maths because I know you have to get 60 on each paper which isn’t easy at all.

Hi, you are right. Passing GCSE maths has become a lot harder but you've still got a great chance. The key is identifying topics you find hard, revising and practicing.

I would recommend you start by printing of the specification for your exam board to start with, you can go through and highlight key topics you struggle with. Then read through guides on these; I would recommend a site like science and maths revision.

Do you have a book of practice questions? I would highly recommend getting the one for your exam board as they are really helpful, sorted by topic too!

Then attempt lots of past papers! Make sure you mark your work and correct anywhere you have gone wrong so you understand. This will also help you identify weak points so you can come back to them later and revise!

Really hope this is helpful and do let me know if you have any questions you are stuck on and i will try my best to help!
