Wasn't sure where to make this thread. Recently got back from Amsterdam which had so many fantastic art museums, now I can't get enough. So please reply with any and as many paintings that you like. Can be from any time by any person

I'm pleased to share them! He spent a lot of time hanging out with the pre-Raphaelites and did lots of paintings of myths or other mystical things.

I saw The Magic Circle (the bottom one) when it was displayed at the A History of Magic exhibition at the British library and made a note of his name, then I realised that lots of my other favourite paintings were also by him

Yes, yes, yes!!! I loooove Banksy! When I was at college, a friend and I went around covering the whiteboards in very artistic revision notes and people were trying to figure out who the "academic Banksy" was

Did you see his "Love is in the bin" performance piece....? :rofl:

His lighter ones are really pretty
Watched a documentary on him for my art coursework and I based my wholeee project on him. Literally changed me :rofl:
