Does anyone know of the tv show ‘skins’ ?
Is it like the inbetweeners?
From what I’ve heard, it’s a lot darker and less comedic
Anyone recommend?

they're brilliant! tbh skins actually casted actual teenagers with no acting experience, which I loved. I feel like it really embraces British culture sometimes and definitely doesn't try to glamorise things, like a lot of American shows/movies do. Inbetweeners casted adults as teenagers but it was still jokes and yeah so relatable sometimes given that it also embraced British culture. There are American versions of both shows, as they tried to copy it 😂 but they are sooo bad and again just seemed so glamorised and seemed like it was trying too hard.

First 4 are good, after that it lost its way IMO. Made my teenage years look rather dull tho

I've seen them all.

Yeah apparently they overdo it a bit with the drugs and sex and stuff like that
I’m 18 and am nearing the end of year 13. However, drugs and sex are 2 things I have never experienced
Idk if that’s normal tho

Yes I agree
If someone has died or passed out, CALL A ****ING AMBULANCE, DONT CARRY THEM THROUGH A PARTY

Season 1 episode 1 when Cassie passes out
Poor Cassie. I don't think I properly 'got' the character until much later.

Skins is amazing. Great show. It is dark but has funny moments too. First series is really good, second is alright, third is pretty bad. But definitely watch it.

Sounds a bit like fresh meat
Well fresh meat is less dark. But it would be very dark, without jack Whitehall 😂
