Would someone like to calm me down, major STRESS right here.

Ok, for some reason exam stress has just piled on me at 23.37 on the 26th May.

Ive been fine whilst everyone was stressing at school. Ive done my revision gradually over 8 weeks and my first exam isnt til 4th June. Then all of a sudden tonight, you know how you are just about to go to sleep, you're staring into darkness and worry creeps in? yeh precisely that.

Now im having a major frek. I need to go over everything I ve done for the sciences and Ive got the whole of english a2 level in 4 days. (otherwise I wont be able to go over bio/chem/maths which are more important) AAAB is just not gonna happen. I dont know what to do with myself, Im literally going to have to get up 3 tomorrow to do all the work I have to do.

/rant over. anyone else like to share their destressing tips? dear lord suggest me something.....

I like your username.

Just plan your work, and put it into small sections. Then just do it, one by one. It feels like you're getting things done and not an overwhelmng amount of work. Like building a house, it takes ages, but just concentrate on one brick at a time and you'll soon be happy.
Take some deep breaths.

wow breath!
dont get up at 3! you'll just get more tired and stressed. ok, go to bed now, you can only do your best, just go through some of your worst subjects and past papers tomorrow.
panicing isnt going to help. GOOD LUCK!

Well normally heading up to exams you kind of know if you are on the right track.
But this year maybe because its the pressure of the uni offer, but Ive just got this feeling something atrocious is going to happen...reading that back it sounds somewhat like paranoia :ninja:

But is that normal? Usually Im pretty confident, but I really dont know If im on the right track for aaab.
BREATH.

Masturbation is a great stress reliever.

Now, go to bed.

exam pressure can be awful, but getting up at 3 isnt the answer. At the end of the day you tiring yourself out and stressing yourself out will only have the opposite effect on your concentration. Have a good nights sleep, get up and do your revision and feel like you are ready for a good day of it, everyone has their own way of doing things, but you really need to just calm down, think of something else and have a bit of confidence that it will turn out ok =]

Ok, I will take heed of your advice and go to sleep. And hopefully you guys will have posted some sort of miracle cure methods for not stressing by the time I wake up tomorrow morning :s-smilie:
My miracle cure is thrashing one out before going to bed. (Seriously.)

YES YOU CAN DO THIS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im having the same sort of stress-episodes at the moment. I just did my first year uni exams at the start of may, and we get a list of people who have passed all of them on 5th June. I feel like I should start revising again for my inevitable resit for anatomy and physiology exam, which is silly cos despite the fact I almost know that i failed it, it would be a total waste of time if I've passed, and resits arent till august so if I have failed I'll have a good while to prepare for it after results come out.

Just relax, watch tv or something to take your mind off it, then go to sleep. I'd say there's no point in trying to sleep with it still running through your head. Been the
re, tried that, failed miserably.

Take control of your emotions, ask yourself "do I really have to feel stressed?"

Not trying to advertise :p: but try some of "Bach's rescue remedy spray". You can get it from Boots, and it works really well. You just spray it in your mouth and it tends to relax you instantly. I used it for revision stress last week, and then sprayed it into my mouth before I went into an exam, it feels weird but it is relaxing.
