First week of university days

What do we do at first week when we start university? When do we get time tables etc? Thanks
My guess is it's going to be some sort of 'freshers week' where we get used to the surroundings, make friends, join societies, get everything we need (including timetables) etc, but don't take my word for it :tongue:
