how much sport would you be doing in a week? and how easy or hard is the theory? and im in year 8 right now choosing with no career ideas. is the theory interesting?

The theory is not necessarily hard but do not let it pile up make sure to learn content thoroughly as you go along presuming your on Edexcel it is 60% theory so you have to be prepared to be in a classroom more often probs 3/5 lessons and make sure you are a confident athlete in terms of your chosen sports if you are not that great at exams and not a strong athlete you will struggle with gcse as each sport is worth 10% and it is difficult to achieve full marks this all contributes to your final grade with 10% coursework think about gcse pe it is not as easy as everyone believes
