Hey there!

Anyone who has been successful with a civil service interview care to share what to expect? It's for a HEO position.

I will be tested on the following behaviours:

Managing a quality service
Making effective decisions
Delivering at pace
Collaborating and Partnering

Can I re-use the same examples from the application?

Also, are there any non competency based questions? E.g motivations for applying to that department/role etc.

Many thanks in advance.

What department is it? Has it not moved to success profiles yet?

Just be yourself. (It takes too much energy to be someone else.)

Yes. You can use the same examples as your application. You can also mix it up with other ones.

They will phrase the questions in a way that fits the competencies 'like give me an example you had to meet multiple deadlines at once and what did you do?'.

Good luck and I am sure you will get more interviews so take the pressure off, relax and be yourself.
