Copper as transition metals exhibit amphoteric behaviors as complex ions. Note that Zn is not a transition metal, only a metal in the d-block. The rest not being transition metals or d-blocks
The mark scheme said the answer was D which i have no clue how that can be right. Also isnt nickel a transition metal too?
Now I'm confused too. did a bit of research and turns out Nickel can be amphoteric too, along with copper.

The reason I chose D is that I remember from IGCSE the tests for cations and here the Zinc ion which forms with sodium hydroxide and ammonia a white precipitate forms which dissolves with excess ammonia because it forms a complex ion and also dissolves with sodium hydroxide because it is amphoteric.
