Postgraduate tuition fee loan

Hi

When completing a postgraduate degree does SFE still pay the tuition fees to the university directly?

I would rather this be the case, as I’m concerned that I would receive the money to pay them myself.

Thanks.

If you’re studying a masters then there’s no tuition fee loan. There’s just a single postgraduate loan (~£10k) that is paid to you. You can choose to use it to pay tuition fees if you want.

Hi there,

The Master's Loan is one product. It is a contributory loan that gets paid to you directly and it is up to yourself to pay the university. The loan is a standardised £10906 for all students for 19/20.

Nihad
