An ice cube of mass 0.010 kg at a temperature of 0 °C is dropped into a cup containing 0.10 kg of water at a temperature of 15 °C.
What is the maximum estimated change in temperature of the contents of the cup?
specific heat capacity of water = 4200 J kg−1 K−1
specific latent heat of fusion of ice = 3.4 × 105 J kg−1
the answer is 8.7K
I tried solving it but I m getting the wrong answer
can someone please help me solving this question

energy lost by water cooling from 15 to unknown final temp = energy to melt ice + energy to warm melted ice from 0 to unknown final temp.

If it still doesn't work, post your working.
