English or PPE?

Hi, I'm in a bit of a pickle at the moment. I'm currently in Year 12 and have been preparing to apply to Oxford for English Literature (I study English Literature, History and Maths). But recently I have been increasingly unsure as to whether I want to apply for English or PPE. I am aware that there is a similar thread from about 6 years ago, but as I have never been particularly career focussed, I am making my judgement based on how much I think I would enjoy the course, not the career that it would lead on to. I have always loved English, but I think that what appeals to me about PPE is the greater emphasis in theory (and the inclusion of Maths in Economics!), whilst English is more subjective. But I am still unsure, perhaps my reservations about PPE are because I think it would be harder to get a place to read it, due to being more competitive, though this may be wholly false. I'd find any help or advice really helpful!
