York VS UCL chemistry

I'd appreciate some input from any current UCL or York students or anyone who can help!
I've received offers from both UCL and York to study chemistry but I'm super divided about where to go, need to decide within the next week. I've visited York and really enjoyed the city and was impressed by the chemistry facilities available, I'm somewhat familiar with London and don't think living there will be a factor which will scare me. However, I don't know much about UCL chemistry, I've read that its more stressful than York but is that worth it for the reputation of a degree from UCL?
I really hope to try to go into some sort of marine plastic pollution related research/ employment after uni (doubt its ever going to happen though, RIP).

Alternatively, I might just take a year out and apply to Oxford next cycle?
