Okay so I don’t moan during sex, or make any noises. I just don’t feel the need and I don’t want to force it. I feel like I am in the minority but does anyone else not. It caused problems at first cause my boyfriend assumed I didn’t enjoy it cause he didn’t hear me. But I want to try and enjoy every feeling and for me to do that I need to be quiet and focus. I don’t know how people can be so loud. I squeeze his hand instead. Am I alone ?

Not everyone does - bear in mind a lot of teenagers impression of sex is from porn which is dramatically exxagerated and not realistic!

Yeah I prefer not to moan either but men assume we should all moan. Hate having to fake it.

tbf its like making a joke and not laughing thats the equivalent
some people laugh thats a natural response whereas others do not laugh but still enjoy the joke therefore for those that dont know you are enjoying the joke they think you do not find it funny

Expect laughing is a natural involuntary reaction where as moaning is not, well for me anyway I would I have to fake and I am not about that life

No, it's not. Not even remotely. Joke -> funny. Laughter -> necessary reaction to funny.

You are saying something like sex -> pleasurable. Moaning -> necessary reaction to pleasure.

There is absolutely no logical link between the two.

If a girl didn't moan I'd be okay with that as long as she told me, I wouldn't want to think that she isn't enjoying it. I wouldn't want her to fake it either. just communicate in some way

there's lots of ways to show enthusiasm that don't involve moaning. would he not know you were faking it if you suddenly took it up?

does he moan or does he think that's your job?

I mean I’m not going to take it up cause it doesn’t feel natural. He moans when he is cumming, he always has even before we had sex. So I guess it is his natural response.

Oh i don’t think sex is meant to be painful? yeh I hold his hand and squeeze it but also verbally say how I enjoy it. To make him feel reassured

Porn makes it out like girls are supposed to scream like a banshee in bed.

no its not supposed to be painful! I have spoken to dr tho don't worry. but now I just associate moaning with pain. thats good, there are other ways to show enjoyment I guess things like porn drastically over dramatises the womans reaction so he maybe wasn't used to you not moaning at first. just make sure he knows what signals you use when youre enjoying it

Ehhh for me personally it doesn't matter whether a girl moans or not, squeezing his hand shows enthusiasm imo just do what's natural for you!
