So I have an interview at Middlesex university in a weeks time and I’m soo nervous. I have applied for veterinary nursing and veterinary nursing with foundation year and I’m already thinking negatively as I’m someone who’s really anxious and let’s my nerves get the best of me. Would anyone be able to help me on the type of questions they’ll ask, or any help would be much appreciated😩

Hi, thanks for your message

Please don't be too anxious about your interview, we know it can seem scary, so we have put together some general advice on what to expect and how to plan (including some general questions to expect) https://www.mdx.ac.uk/study-with-us/...-and-auditions.

Interviews are helpful for us because:

- Find out why you want to study your chosen course
- Learn more about your skills and ideas related to your subject

They also help you to find out more about us and whether Middlesex is right for you.

Here is an overview of the assessment process for Veterinary Nursing BSc:

- Online English and Maths Assessment using Basic & Key Skills Builder (BKSB). The element of this application that we are utilising is used widely to evaluate, through on-line assessments, the skill levels at which individuals are working with regard to their literacy and numeracy skills. These results will contribute to our decision-making and assist in determining, along with other aspects of recruitment process, whether we wish to make an offer to the applicant so it is important that applicants complete these to the best of their ability.

- As part of the interview process, applicants will be participating in a group discussion as well as a practical task. The practical task is designed to review skills such as dexterity, problem-solving, team-working and personal interaction.

Hope this helps and good luck! If you have any other questions let me know
