Trying really hard not to use the actual name so where are you from (county) and what do you call 2 pieces of bread with some chips in the middle?

Chip butty. I have really only known it called a chip butty but on the odd occasion a chip sandwich or chip cob. Chip butty sounds better.

Some potatoes that are cousins that 's relatives have gotten a little close as they are in-bread. But actually I just call it a chip sandwich (from Cardiff...south Wales for all those who don't know where it is) although I'm very neutral linguistically without an accent so I just call things as they are without any slang or a twang, it is chips in bread...which is a chip sandwich, I've heard people call it a chip butty though, but they are much more welsh than I.
