Did my work placement in a bakery AMA!

Uh yeah I did around three weeks helping out in a farm shop which has a bakery/kitchen among other sections.

Today was my last day :yep:

Tray bakes, lemon drizzle cake, strawberry tarts, rocky road, apple crumble, also did some ready meals as well.

Only tthing rhey didn't make was bread as rhey didn't have the room. But the best type of bread has got to be a baguette :thumbsup:

So much choice. Favourite thing to bake at my work placement was probably the rocky road and lemon drizzle cake.
Favourite bakery product has to be a vanilla slice however. :smile:

Also not heard of Parisian flan before. It sounds intriguing though - Iwill have to research it. :undefined:

Mostly throughout the day / also some was put in the staff lunch room so people could help themselves :smile:

(that happened only occasionally though).
There wasn't really much spare though. I did get handed some brownie and some a bite of chocolate fudge cake :yum:

Unfortunately they didn't make any bread due to lack of room, but they did bake loads and loads of scones. Each time I went home you could smell the stuff being baked :tongue:

Love fresh baked product smell :grin:

Next step is back to college next week, around mid may I'll prob start looking for a new part time job (they said they don't have any openings currently) but made me realise I can learn more in a different pt job than the one I've curremtly got (also grown out of it a bit too).
