This is the second time now.

Question at page 10:
https://qualifications.pearson.com/c...e_20180123.pdf

Answer at page 12-13:
https://qualifications.pearson.com/c...s_20180308.pdf

Mark point 8 in the mark scheme:
8.clear reference to need to repeat the whole experiment;
8. DO NOT ACCEPT replicate at each concentration

Another example at page 18:
https://qualifications.pearson.com/c...e_20180109.pdf

Answer at page 19:
https://qualifications.pearson.com/c...s_20180308.pdf

Mark point 6 in the mark scheme:
6.repeat(whole experiment not with diff fruits);

-------------------------------

What is the purpose of repeating the whole experiment, if I can repeat three times for each value in the independent variable and then repeat for the other values?

-------------------------------

BONUS

There is a question about the difference between somatic gene therapy and germ line gene therapy at page 5 of link #3 and the answer at page 8 link #4 says that germ line gene therapy involves Embryonic Stem Cells Not Gametes.

There is even Ignore gametes to the side!

Thanks in advance!

Maybe this mark means:
I will do the experiment for each variable first and then repeat the whole experiment
instead of
repeating for every variable then doing the same for the other variables

Still not sure and what about the bonus point?

I am 100% sure germ line gene therapy involves the gametes and not embryonic stem cells.

for the first example, they say dont accept replicate at each concentration, as this would mean making the exact copy of the first trial, so any mistake for the first trial would also apply to the second, example - more than 2g of salt ..so you have to repeat the whole experiment from the start... atleast this is what i understood not sure if its right
