How to improve English?

English is my second language but I need to make my self feel that English is my first language. I would describe my English as broken and I guess my teacher thinks same when she reads throughs my work. which is helpful me to know that where I am struggling. And I feel like my grammar is always incorrect and I really want to improve on it. Some suggestion that I could improve my broken English. It would be great if someone recommends me some suggestion about my broken English.
