I enjoyed 1st and 3rd year the most, yeah this course will be worth it but you will need to complete a PGCE TO BECOME A QUALIFIED PRIMARY TEACHER ON TOP WHICH IS AN ADDITOAL YEAR

Hello Breezie96, I noticed your post about whether to become a primary teacher. If you like children which you clearly do and you love learning and showing others how to learn you will enjoy teaching and the only way to find out is to try this. Maybe you can do some volunteering at a local school or community group or maybe you can get involved in kids clubs during the holidays to make up your mind. Whilst you do have to get a PGCE this qualification opens so many other doors to you in terms of wider careers. For example you can work in education development in local authorities or specialist organisations with teaching qualification. You can also live in all sorts of places to teach unlike other industries where you may be confined to specific areas of the country. Many education providers offer qualifications that are also recognised in the different countries making up the UK so that you can teach across the UK. Hope this helps!
