Can I suggest that people register instead for a postal vote. It then doesn't matter if you are sick, not at home, too busy, etc on the actual day.

You can sign up for a postal vote here:
https://simple.getvoting.org/#/

It's really easy.

I usually do but I wasn't even aware of this one.
They send you the polling/postal vote card automatically if you're registered to vote

I voted and stayed Tory since i like them at a local level.

I will be voting for Farage to illustrate the Brexit betrayal on the 23rd. Already have my polling card and the Friday booked off work.
For the European elections? Save your holidays!

Brexit Party will win, Lib Dems and Greens will do well - Change UK will be disappointing, Labour will do badly, Tories will do awfully.

Nope, there weren't any in London. There is no chance of losing the labour majority, with maybe 1 or 2 seats taken by the greens.

Yep. Voted Labour. The alternative here is Tories and I'd never vote Tory. My mum would kill me, raise me from the dead, kill me again and then disown me if I did. My dad would do likewise.

Your parents reaction should never influence you. You either believe in socialism or you don’t. If you do not then the only way to weaken the hard left is to vote Tory.

I'm Irish. Why the hell would I vote for a party that thinks it's fine to stick a hard border through Ireland? I'd never vote Tory.

Isn't it the EU who demand one?

A hard border is an inevitability if the UK leaves with no deal. It's not the EU, it's a matter of international law. The English wanted Brexit. It's the job of Parliament to come up with a plan not in breach of the Good Friday Agreement. They are yet to do so.

The Tories also have a general anti Catholic, anti Irish attitude though. I've encountered it personally.

Yes I did unfortunately I had no candidate to vote for, I had the usual suspects liblabcon and an independent. So I voted for the independent, if no independent was standing I'd of voted for Liberal ls out of protest.
