Do you retain and understand more information from studying for exams or completing assignments/projects?

I guess probably projects but projects are sometimes quite specific or only cover one area that is applied to case study so doesnt have to width of studying for an exam instead

Coursework all the way! In exams I just have a moment where I blank out and forget most of the things I've revised the past 5 months for, and stress out a lot. Come out of the exam not able to remember most of the questions I just did. Coursework (or assignments as we call them) is stress free for me, able to do an hour here after college, two hours there in the morning, etc a week before the due date with 3-7k words.
