Industrial economics at Nottingham

I recently firmly chose to study Industrial Economics course at Nottingham. I had an offer from Manchester to study Management and( International Business Economics) and I made it my insurance choice. Have I made a good decision? Is IE at Nottingham a good course choice, because I also had an option of studying pure economics yet I thought it would be too monotonous.

Ultimately, it is up to you whether it is a good choice or not.

You say you feel studying a pure economics degree would have been monotonous, but actually the Industrial Economics course (taught by the Business School) is effectively a specialisation in microeconomics/business economics. Whereas a pure economics degree would offer macroeconomics, too, and allow for a variety of field topics to be chosen (labour, development, trade, health, finance, etc., etc.).

Hmmm, not sure my friend. Depends how bad will be your maths results, because sociology isn't really a respectable subject to be honest. Wish you all the best
