Calculating impact force for an object that hasn't reached terminal velocity?

How would you calculate the amount of force an object hits the ground with as it accelerates towards the Earth (not in free-fall, assume there is drag but it doesn't = weight yet).

And then how would you calculate the amount of a force an object hits the ground with after it has reached terminal velocity?

It's not something I need to know I don't think but I'm baffling myself.

Using N3L and rate of change of momentum of the object.
