ANY HELP?
Task 1– Reaction Mechanisms (M2) (Poster)
In order to achieve M2 you must draw the mechanisms for the following reactions:
(a) Free radical substitution of butane using any halogen.
(b) Electrophilic addition in the production of ethanol
(c) The nitration of benzene.
***ALL REACTION MECHANISMS MUST BE HAND DRAWN ACCURATLEY, COPY AND PASTE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE***
This provides evidence for [M2]
Task 2– Reaction Mechanisms (D2) (Poster)
In order to achieve D2 you must draw the reaction mechanism for the reaction between:
(a) propene and hydrogen bromide (HBr)
(b) But-1-ene and hydrogen chloride (HCl)
(c) Write a few sentences to explain why 2 products are formed instead of just 1.
***ALL REACTION MECHANISMS MUST BE HAND DRAWN ACCURATLEY, COPY AND PASTE IS NOT ACCEPTABLE***
This provides evidence for [D2]
