Am I missing something? You've done these exams like 3 times in a row and you said in another thread that you're doing a law degree in uni of SOAS. So what really happened? If you come clean perhaps we can point you in the right direction with notes, ebooks and good resources so that you can pass the exams on the fourth attempt.

Huh?
I am using my cousins account since I can't set up my own one for some reason and I am doing the exams this summer. If you actually check my cousins post history (since you're so interested) you will find she is studying law at university.

I saw you mention 'xxvine' in another thread about Politics as well. Are you literally following him or her around lmao? What's wrong if they post on here?
Yes I am!! I'm doing Edexcel and redoing both AS papers, so Unit 1 and Unit 2 and then also resitting A2 Unit 3 and Unit 4 papers, basically the whole load lol! I got BBBB across all papers but I need AAAA across all papers. Do you have any top tips/advice in relation to structure and knowledge?! My Unit 1 paper is this Friday and I don't know what to expect they always try to catch you out with random new questions, like I'm sorry but is that even on this spec???? Kind of annoying.

Yes I am resitting
Haven't even revised much tbh and basically just going over my notes
My strongest topics are elections and democracy. Back up is pressure groups. I am hoping the questions are nice since its the last ever exam. I hope they don't throw anything in about Brexit or the EU (I don't think they can since Brexit isn't really part of the old syllabus). They did that a couple of years ago with a democracy question and asked about the EU which was nasty.

What topics are you focusing on?
I'm focussing on Pressure Groups and Democracy. I tend to be ok with the 5 and 10 markers but the 25 markers ALWAYS let me down! Any advice on how to tackle them? Last year I hoped that the questions would be nice for one of my A-levels (it was the last exam ever) and guess what they did? They threw in some random bizarre questions so just be ready to tackle anything they throw at you, but hopefully it should be ok...& What's your structure gonna be for each question? 5/10/25

That would be horrible haha What topics are you doing for unit 2?
For the 25 markers I thought intro, 3 for and 3 against then conclusion.
The 5 markers and 10 markers it depends on what they ask. They could ask to explain the workings of an electoral system which you just simply explain.

I do exactly that for the 25 marker but still never seem to achieve 20 and above I think I'm gonna start with the 25 markers first, do a plan and all. & for Unit 2 I'm doing PM and Cabinet, The Constitution and Parliament. We didn't learn the other topic, how about you?

Oh wow. are you on a gap year?
I have revised only PM and Constitution so far. I need to cram another one. Might do the judiciary. Thats a smaller topic. Parliament and Constitution are the 'big topics/
Yeah the 25 markers are pretty tricky. You need to give examples I am told and be as precise as possible. 20/25 is still an A though lol. I would ne happy to get 40/50 for the 25 markers haha

Yup I am. Didn't get the grades I wanted so decided to take a year out. How about you, are you on a gap year too? And what grade are you hoping to achieve by the end of this?
