The Best way I do it is:
Para 1: Intro, highlight argument. 'In this essay, I will argue...
Para 2: Point in favour of argument
Para 3 : Evaluate point and say why it is a strong argument
Para 4: Another point in favour
Para 5: Evaluate point and say why it is a strong argument
Para 6: Point against:
Para 7: Evaluate and say why it is a weak argument
Para 8: Conclusion: effectively your intro but include your points in favour.

Make sure to include your quotes

the way my teacher has shown us is an absolute life saver! Just simply:
For the statement
Against the statement
Religious reference (include at least 2 in your essay... one for FOR and one for AGAINST)
Conclusion (summing up your overall opinion)
Is this GCSE? its been a while as im 2nd year a level but i should remember how:

Intro: Shouldnt be too long but have a clear line of argument and briefly outline/ hint out what you will be talking about (To do this u need a good plan)

Then a zigzag structure so a paragraph For the statement, then a paragraph against then you must EVALUATE as this is the question, which argument is stronger/ weaker and why. Do this zigzag 3 times (Im pretty sure this is how many i did when i was doing it so 3 paras for, 3 paras against then 3 evaluates inbetween)
Then the conclusion, what have you decided the final evaluation is given the arguments(usually stronger if you evaluate towards one side of the argument throughout, but i dont think it is necessary at GCSE)

remember to put scholarly imput/ AO1 knowledge content in wherever to support your argument.

Also keep your language in mind, for me this was just pretending you know what you are talking about to come across as more convicting, but you must use power phrases like 'this is a direct contradiction to buddhist beliefs' 'this strongly suggests that' etc.

Good luck
Wow! That's long for a 12 marker!

You must be doing it on 13th and 20th May?
I would suggest to do:
Intro (conclude your point here)
1 Paragraph -For (should be a solid para)
1 Paragraph -Against
Rebuttal
Conclusion

This would only take 12 minutes and ensures top marks if written correctly

Do you have to include your opinion in the 12 marker? (e.g. in conclusion)
Each paragraph excludin intro and conclusion should only be max 4 lines with point and sufficient explanation

My teacher told us to do a max of 6 paragraphs consisting of:
Min 2 for/against (basically either 3/3 or 4/2 or 2/4 so it adds up to 6) the conclusion (included in the 6paragraphs) should be your strongest point
