VO5 Rework Fibre Putty

bought this y'day after reading a lot of recommendations, it seems good so far but I have questions for those who use it:

- how much do you use in your hair? I only used a bit b/c it's white and I'm not sure how to mix it in well enough yet
- does it only work on dry hair?
- what's your hairstyle? is this the best product to help for it?

overall, a good product then?

I just dab my fingers in it a tiny bit, then sweep my fingers through my hair.
Kind of a side parting thing going on. Bit like Vernon Kaye's. (if you wanna see google image side parting, it's the third one there.

It works fine. Works alright on wettish hair, but not sopping wet.
Overall pretty good, but really i've got nothing to compare it to. Only started using it recently...

I find putting it all over one hand then rubbing it in with both is the best method, but then I've got sort of messy spikey hair.
I use V05 texturising gum sometimes and Gatsby hair products most of the time, depending on how I have my hair.

Best time to use them is after a shower once my hair has dried, usually use hair dryer to speed it up. It's nice an soft that way, if it's too wet or slightly damp then the hair will weigh more and it'll start to sag if you have any spikes in your hair.
My hair is a mess at moment and long from back but shorter from front , and until I get it cut I try and style it like a side parting but with the wind I end up with a fringe.. Would this product help me get it to stay like that all day? Should it be after/during/before drying hair (with dryer).

thanks

should I be mixing it with water before I put it in my hair because it's white, or do you just mix it over and over?
is v05 rework any good as texturising gum?

Can only work it if my hair is very slightly damp.
