opening a student bank account

Hi

I have a conditional offer and I am only 18 in August. I have received a letter from Student Finance asking me to give details of my student account.

I can only open a student account when I am 18 and have an unconditional place ( 15 August hopefully ).

Should I fill in details of my junior building society account or wait until 15 August to respond?

You letter asks for me to respond as soon as possible.

Is your building society account a current account or a savings account?

If it’s a current account then add the details. You can change them later once you know your student account details (although if you stay with the building society then your bank details might not change - they would just change your account into a student one)
