I know last years essays were: John cage , psycho and Vaughan Williams so guessing they won’t come up x

Just use your wider listening is what I do , as long as you know one or two fairly strong for each area of study you can use them in this x

Yeah, I am almost certain that we will have an essay question on Rachel Portman since last year we had Herrman (for film music) and the AS essays had Elfman in 2017. Also I think we will also definitely have a fusions question, my guess would be an Anoushka Shankar question on 'Burn'. I think that a Stravinsky essay also seems very possible because it hasn't come up yet for anything.

I have a feeling that Stravinsky/ Shankar or pine will come up as the essay because I feel like they hardly came up in previous exams
