Im solving the equation to find x are these workings out correct?
3(x-7)-(2x+5)=-18
(3x-21)-(2x+5)=-18
3x-21-2x-5=-18
1x-26=-18
1x-26+26=-18+26
1x=8
1/1=8/1=8
x=3
to check -
3(8-7)-(2x8+5)=-18
3(1)-(16+5)=-18
(3)-(21)=-18
3-21=-18
