Do they call you the socialising god too, just out of interest? Rumour has it they're inversely proportional, i.e the more the person brags about being maths god, the less decent their social skills are (not that I need to explain that to you, maths god)

My prediction, it’s probs gonna be harder than the last one :frown:
We can make a list of what pure stuff didn’t come up in the last one like:
- coordinate geometry
- factor theorem

I think factor theorem did come up - was there not some (x+7) thing? Not sure though...

I think defo a log/ln graph, since there wasn't any logs last time. Also a binomial test (maybe one with a critical region) will be a big marker.
Think also some differentiation from first principles, or differentiating to find max/min values...

What about the large data set- worth learning any key points?
I looked at it and wasn't too sure what to actually learn, like there's a page of info but I don't really see how it could be assessed... Kinda winging the data set

At least I'm not the only one. The way they used it last year was alright and didn't need any knowledge of it so lets just hope its like that again!

Kinda feeling like there won't be too much stats - SO many topics didn't come up last time so I think lots of pure (or maybe I'm just trying to make myself feel better for being awful at stats:smile:)

How did everyone find it? What did you get for the last one?
Also what did everyone get for null and alternative hypothesis?
