During the month of ramadan is someone with an eating disorder exempt from fasting if for example they are in recovery?
My parents don't let me fast despite the fact that i don't eat much during the day anyway so i feel like i could have just completed a fast instead.

How about if their weight is extremely low (regardless of them having an ED) would they be exempt from fasting?

Yes you are exempt from fasting if you are recovering, because if you are at risk of being triggered then not fasting is in the best interests of your health. You can't fast if it compromises your health.

It's best you talk to your GP if you want to fast
