Dear all,

I kindly ask for some assistance or advice. I am currently in my final year and graduating in a month with a BA in Economics. I am intrigued by the field of computer science and data architecture, which is why I’ve applied for an MSc in Applied Data Science and Statistics and an MSc in Financial Economics at the university of Exeter. I am just on the fence of which one to go for or whether I’ll even enjoy Data Science. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Do the data science degree. You can use the knowledge you learn in that degree to learn econometrics but you can't use the knowledge you learn from a financial economics degree to learn data science and statistics.
