I have my first law exam, public law, in a few weeks. Can anyone recommend the best ways to remember all the content?
Here's what we have to learn for the exam:
The way I've been learning the cases is through lecture and seminar notes and flashcards.
I'm finding remembering all the theories and principles quite difficult (since there's so many).
If anyone has any revision notes, past papers and has done this module please could you share them in this thread or PM me?
I have some notes that I can share if anyone wants them.
Good luck to everyone on their exams💙
Here's what we have to learn for the exam:
- Constitutions and constitutional theory (separation of powers, rule of law, parliamentary sovereignty)
- Institutions (parliament, executive, parliamentary reform, judiciary and judicial independence)
- Administrative law (judicial review, tribunals, inquiries, ombudsman)
- Human rights and civil liberties (courts, bill of rights, freedom of expression, assembly and the right to privacy)

Repeat, repeat. Test knowledge via past papers.
Law students are notoriously stingy with notes they have built up.
