Re-apply to Cambridge or go to Durham? Watch

Hey - I’m really conflicted at the moment about what to do next year. I have a place at Durham to study Classics but I was rejected from Cambridge, also for Classics (4 year course), and when I received interview feedback they basically just said that they couldn’t fit me in but my interviews and assessments went well, though my knowledge grammar could have been tighter. I was really heartbroken when I didn’t get into Cambridge and tbh I’m still not really over it, so whilst the obvious thing would maybe be to re-apply, I’m not completely sure whether to or not. I’m worried that a gap year will mean that I wouldn’t fit in with the people I’m at uni with as I’d be older slightly. Also, I’m worried that if I were to be rejected from Cambridge again, I’d struggle to get Durham again, as I have been allocated the college I really wanted at Durham and have faffed the accommodation team around as I have a condition which means I need a certain accommodation.
Any thoughts are welcome as I’m really struggling to figure out what to do.
Thank you xx

Did you not get pooled?

If not, it wasn't just a case of not fitting you in.
