Can someone please explain why it's C?
I thought since it's heated internal energy increases and therefore it should be B

From my understanding, during a change in state, the KE will remain the same and the PE will increase because energy supplied to the substance is used to break bonds instead of raising the temperature. Since temperature is constant, this means that KE is also constant.

Thank you
Is there ever case where PE is constant but KE is increasing or decreasing?
