I graduated with a 2:2 from London University (Long Distance Degree). I have been studying from Spain and managed to attain my Economics degree within 3 years. My degree was developed by academics at LSE, meaning we studied LSE course material, sat their exams and had our papers marked by them. The only difference is not having any physical support (i.e lecturers, study groups,...)
I have been working full time throughout these 3 years as a bookkeeper for a few small firms, and got my CFAB certificate from the UK last year.
I am a British Citizen and moved to Spain with my family six years ago.

I would really like to pursue my career in accountancy and not stay as a bookkeeper...do you think i could apply for ACA in the UK?
Would it be valuable that I got a 2:2 degree from London University (at LSE standard) by myself whilst working full time and gaining experience? Or is my 2:2 in the way?

2.2 is fine, I'm sure. I think the motivation counts more than the grade, probably. (I'm an engineer so not an expert)

I have had a friend who put themselves through seemingly never-ending vast numbers of accountancy exams, whilst living in France, so I know at least one person who did something similar to your idea, but you do need specialist accountancy advice - from wherever serious accountants hang-out

Thank you for your reply! I hope the "motivation" really counts as something!
