did you get the absolute uncertainty as 0.03?

No it's half the range
how was the 6 marker
But each measurement had an uncertainty of 0.01cm so you just ass them all up.

how was the 6 marker

Which one
both of them
Original post by iamcambridge
both of them

Change f
Measure a and d
Use mic to find X of 10 and divide by 10
Plot 1.over f against x
Gradient x a over D is v
Safety ear protectors in case f too high or low
Other one was defining all the terms I think 3 marks then competing all of them
and v is what
Original post by iamcambridge
and v is what

Speed of sound
mate you are not making
any sense

What? It said to determine V the speed of sound
Vary f and measure x

Plot x against 1/f

Grsfient is xf

From equation u know gradient x a / D = V
oh i thought ax/d is wavelength

oh i thought ax/d is wavelength

Which is V/f and the experiment was how f affects x
oh thanx
For the second 6 marker, I said plot a/D multiply the gradient by x and then by the frequency used. I also said repeat with different frequencies,
and how did you do the calculations

I think u are changing f and u wanna see how it affects x so these should be axis

1/f and x
the area of the stool and and k and the distance
There's probably a few ways of doing it as it's not an actual required practical it's kind of merged.
