AQA Geography grade boundaries

Ive always been told by my geography teacher that the geography grade boundaries are usually 85% but i checked the examiners report and for the last 3 years ot has been 73%. Does anyone know what the grade boundaries are?

THey change every year btw .. last couple of years its been quite low for an A* but then one year it was 80%. :/

really quite low! i got full marks on my c/w so i only need 65% UMS to get an A* - that is a very low A

For the 2007 paper you needed
75% for an A and 65% for a B & 55% for a C according to my teacher [the exam report for 2007 still isn't up on the website.]

Yes, it's been just over two thirds marks for an A* on Paper 1 in the not-too-distant past. Quite incredible.

60%. I know it sounds ridiculously low and too good to be true, but my Geog teacher has been marking exam papers for about 5 years and she said they are always that low.

MY Geog teacher is incompetent to teach - he only teaches history. in my cw, i got a high c/b!!! im predicted an a* - infact i had no a*z in my class (which is the only 1 he teaches) and we are all predicted a*z and a'z!!!

and i go to a grammar school???

wtf? y did we do crap in cw??
ANYWAY

Wat mark would i need to get an a overall in geography? i know an a*z outta the window

Yeah same. I managed to type up 30 pages of solid geography c.work yet i only managed to get 15-20/30 :confused:

Apparently, the Geography teacher said she didn't want to give me high marks because she wanted to be on the safe side and show the moderator that... (oh i don't know, she was chatting loadza bullll). :mad:

27 + is an A* for AQA Spec. A

Geography is out of 260 in total and coursework counts for 65. 27 becomes 59, 28 - 61, 29 - 63 and 30 - 65.
