x| -2 | -1 | 0 | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 |
x² | 16 | 9 | 4 | 1 | 0 | 1 | 4 | 9 | 16

This looks like a table where the column alignment has gone wrong. If x = -2 (first row, first column, then underneath should be 4 which is (-2)^2. You appear to have lost the first two and last two columns on the first row which should be -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4. Each column on the last row will be 2(second row value) - 3(first row value) - 1. So for x =2 column, it should be 2(4) -3(2) - 1 = 1
