yeah that's what I did too
at first i just added them to get 14cm3, then i realised

I don’t remember but i am not sure if oxygen was in excess

I think it was? It was 1 to 2 ratio and nitrogen or something was 8 but oxygen 6 which is in excess by 2
I thought we only had to find the mass I didn’t write the formula but mass was like 259 or something how much marks do you think I’d lose
Original post by Quitebad124
Ye that’s what I got

Original post by Quitebad124
I thought there were less moles of O2 so it wasn’t excess the other was want it

Yep i got that too. The last one was C4H4Cl6 ?

would the grade boundaries be higher than last year?
It was only a two market so just one mark lost

you'd lose one for not calculating Mr and one for not working out the formula probably

Do u guys think the grade boundaries will be higher than last year?
(edited 4 years ago)
Yeah but I you had found the mass using volume the answer would be other way around

Hop not and I don’t think they will

I liked last year's one more so maybe lower but idk. It was 55/70 for an A in last year's one.
What were they last year?

I don't get it

Ratio of 1 to 2

8 to 4

Bjr u had 6 oxygen
2 excess

8 mole of product

10 dm3 total

How did you do the N₂O diagram??
Reply 94
It was 55marks for an A in breadth

Did anyone find the dot and cross of N2O confusing? It was triple bond N, single bond O but it made no sense to me because it left central N only bonding 4 of its electrons
Dative covalent for one of the nitrogen oxygen bonds

What did u guy fleet when it said form an equation where all the H had beeen substituted with Cl. And the other form an equation question

Yes I think thats right. I just searched it up and there are 2 different ways to do it.

You can have a triple N to N bond plus one dative N to O bond, or you can do a N=O bond and N-N bond plus a N->N bond.
I think i put C4H10 +5cl2 ———C4Cl10 + 5H2
