OCR Greek GCSE: 17th May / 24th May / 4th June

Figured I would start off a Greek GCSE thread as I couldn’t find one! (not too surprising)
Just wondering how the Language went for people...

I did not expect a 50 marker for the translation!!! It was overall a lot harder than expected :frown:

Same! I actually think it was worse than my mock... which is pretty worrying! Oh well, I'm trying to make up for it in Prose Lit tomorrow. I'm doing the Herodotus - Solon and Croesus, what about you?
Yup same. Are you doing Homer: Odyssey for verse? Personally i think prose is probably the easier of the papers, it's just memorising a text- no real Greek skills required and that's good.

Same, I only started the Odyssey after mocks, so I’m really happy that it’s prose first, not verse. I guess both of the literature papers are basically just memorising the english
