Life is weird and can change very quickly Watch

A few months ago and for the majority of the year I was pretty unhappy, struggling with sleep, stressed over typical first year stuff and couldn’t really imagine myself ‘loving myself’.

Now the things that were stressful worked out well in the end.
I definitely like myself way more than before and the validation comes internally.
Studying is finally paying off and I am noticing improvements.

Besides a few hiccups here and there I’ve been feeling pretty great this past month-2.

So I hope anyone who is going through a tough time will remind themselves that there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Things can change very quickly and that does require some change on your part what helped me most was.

1.)Creating new goals for myself
2.)Establishing actual morning and evening routines
3.)Positive habits like reading a book before bed
4.)Reminding myself of the things I’m grateful for every morning.
5.)Exercise with the goal of being better than I was yesterday
6.)Seeing mistakes as what they are which is just mistakes. Appreciating the long grind in life.
7.)Healthy diet (I found that eating too little is equally as bad for how you feel about yourself).
8.)Being more mindful with my mobile phone use

Bonus: Stoicism is great. Being grateful for what you have. Appreciating that most things won’t last for ever. Understanding that material desires doesn’t bring sustained happiness. Focusing on what you have control over and what you don’t.

^^100% agree with you, most people tend to realise at a later stage and at times that can be too late.

It's nice to read a positive thread on here.

Now we can get back to the usual TSR business of arguing with each other.

Nah I think we should keep this thread in the limelight a bit longer. A bit of positivity is a nice change
