I today did Maths GCSE paper 1 non-calculator (Edexcel) and I'm aiming for an 8. However, I don't think I did that well and I now have a mountain to climb. Does anyone have any advice for how I can still get an 8 by doing well in Paper 2 and 3?

Just keep on doing what you've been doing and find as many exam questions to do as possible (but not any on what's already been tested). If you get something wrong, then make sure you understand what you did wrong and how to do it correctly. Then, after a couple of days, do the question again to help "train" yourself in giving perfect answers.

If you can't do a question at all, leave it for a while (even a day or so) and ponder over it at your leisure. Inspiration may come when you're least expecting it and it's a buzz when it does.

You may find watching clips on examsolutions.net useful too

The devil's in the detail and I always told my pupils/students that missing a 6 inch putt is a greater crime that completely slicing your shot off the tee
