Hello TSR Community

I have done IGCSE and my grades in Maths is C. I want to retake and improve this grade to A. Questions are

1) Can I retake IGCSE Maths once again (in the UK) or should I go for GCSE Maths instead?
2) Is there a massive difference in the curriculum of IGCSE Maths and GCSE Maths?
3) Having studied IGCSE Maths, how easy/difficult will be to re-sit GCSE Maths?
4) Which score remains? Is it the best score or the latest score that remains?

Thanks in advance!
