GCSE or A-level?

hello there : )
I would like to know, what are GSCEs and A-level subjects?
What is the difference?
And is one better than the other?
thanks a lot <3

GCSE are level 2 and done from year 10-11, typically sat by 16 year olds.
GCE A level are the next ones done in years 12-13 and sat by 17/18 year olds. They are the main ones to get you into Uni.

you can sit levels at 16 to.

Well if you want to go down that route students as young as 9 have been known to sit them.
Not sure what your point is?
The vast majority of children in school sit them at the end of year 13.
many people I know are 16 and are doing alevels ,me for one.
