hey, i'm planning on taking english language a level next year because the content seems really interesting but it looks like a LOT of new information and also lots of essays, which isn't exactly my strong point.
i spoke to one of the language teachers at my school and she said that generally you need a grade 5+ to take the a level (i usually get 5/6 in english overall).
i'm worried it will be too much for me and i won't be able to improve my essay skills because i don't enjoy writing a lot (ironic, i know). however i'm really eager to learn the actual content!
can anyone help me and explain a little about how they find the course and maybe how much of it is actually essay-based?
