its so hard to get into contact with pearson/edexcel directly i've given up, and i don't really want to approach the head of exams about this but:
i use a laptop in exams and we're supposed to sign our papers after being printed off nowadays as proof that we've done the work ourself. in the first economics exam i did this year i forgot to sign my paper on the front and handed it in. ive signed all the other ones.
do you think this will be much of a problem? i would like to think my teacher would have seen the fact i hadn't signed it on the front paper and have said something if it was, but im not sure.
its only a new thing they've introduced in the past 2 years and i cant imagine forgetting a signature will discount the whole paper, especially since i put my name, candidate number, and centre number on each page. the exam board don't even have a signature of mine to compare it against so its kinda meaningless really, i would imagine any squiggle will do. do you guys think this will cause any problems? thanks

It doesn't matter in the slightest. Don't worry about it.

I can assure you it won't make any difference. We get scripts like this all the time - it's not relevant.
