Does anyone have any tips for achieving an A* grade in the new math A level edexcel, pure and applied. Like resources that you use or other things you do to achieve A*s in maths (maybe exam technique).

I need an A, but I would feel safer aiming for an A*.

Also does anyone have any grade boundary predictions.

Thanks.

Madasmaths papers, the practice papers, and specimen papers is what I've done. I'll link resources :
https://iacmaths.weebly.com/pure-mathematics.html
https://madasmaths.com/archive_iygb_...ce_papers.html
https://madasmaths.com/archive_iygb_...ce_papers.html
https://madasmaths.com/archive_iygb_...ce_papers.html
Also to be certain that you get an A you need to aim for 70 marks average across all papers, and to be certain for A* you need like 85. Probably will be lower than these, but to be safe. Last year A was 61%, and A* was 76%.

Would you rather recommend doing the madas maths papers or the AQA/OCR NEW SPEC papers (2018 and specimen) if you're an Edexcel student?

I think do the new papers provided by the exam board, because I believe that the madas papers are like a compilation of old paper? Im not so sure.
I would do all the new spec papers and then come back to the madas papers/old spec and then re attempt the new spec papers again

I got tailored tutors atm and the senior maths examiner (who will be writing the ms to Edexcel pure 1 and 2 2019) said to do the AQA and OCR new spec papers. So don't know if I got the time to do the uplearn papers, ngl it's tempting though as their gassing up with their A/A* guarantee. It's kinda peak still, wish I had started the papers earlier but on well
